Lee Kirby works under the pseudonym “3rd Eye” he has been involved in the graffiti art scene since the late 1980’s. His style has developed out of influential books and films such as, Spray can art,Subway Art, Wild style, and style Wars and artists such as Vaughn Bode.
A wide range of ideas feature in his work including, mutation, survival, the nonsensical, surrealism, dreams, and the subconscious as well as themes surrounding his alter ego which include eyes and insight, which sometimes take the form of characters and sometimes a letter form but always exploring his fantastical and playful imagination.
The style of the work aims to be simple, eye catching bold and have immediate impact as well as a deeper meaning on a wide range of levels.

Lee is also the artist and company director of flipt murals a mural based company in the south west which has been working with young people and communities to create murals and workshops across the region for the past 11 years.
